Клуб владельцев TOYOTA PRIUS / ТОЙОТА ПРИУС и других гибридных автомобилей _ FAQ (Prius в кузове NHW20) _ Latest Mileage

I am excited to tell all that I was able to squeeze 46.5 mpg out of my Prius. My last fill up was back in October until today. I have made many start and stop trips, which I believe throws the trip computer off. The Consumption screen showed me at 42.0 MPG. So the difference was -4.5 mpg shown. Have any of you experienced similar things with your Prius? Usually, it is much closer but still off. Must be the fuel tank collapsing since it now 32F compared to 70F.

46,5 MPG = 5,1liter/100km это конечно не плохо, но бывает и поменьше. smile.gif

I wish it was better, the fuel economy that is. My car is aging well for a 2004 model. To get above my average of 41 to 42 mpg is wonderful indeed. It takes a conscience effort to get the numbers up. Yes, I just drive it most of the time, but I also have my wife and youngest daughter with me during most of these excursions. With all three of us onboard, we exceed the weight limit of the Prius, yikes. 5.1 liters per 100 km is very high for my kind of driving, Interstate at 75 mph and in town at 30 to 45 mph. It all adds up to the number I posted here. But think if it was not a Prius, those numbers would be even lower.
What does a liter or gallon of fuel cost in Russia?

how many degrees on the street? What kind of weather do you have?
What is the temperature in the car?

I correctly identified the region?
Indianapolis IN, United States
Today - Partly cloudy. High 37 °F (2.8 °C). Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph (16.1 to 32.2 kph).
Tonight - Mainly clear skies. Low 21 °F (-6.1 °C). Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph (8.0 to 16.1 kph).
46.5 mpg very good flow with this weather.

Для русскоговорящих:
погода ща у них -6...+3. Нормальный расход при таких погодных условиях. Все это верно в случае, если я правильно определил регион его проживания.

So for a metric gallon ( 4 Liters ) you guys are paying $3.40 a metric gallon for AKI 87 and $3.60 a metric gallon for premium. I have seen the price jump to $3.75 to $3.85 over the course of a weekend. There is no rhyme or reason for it, what ever they the gas station wants to charge that is the price YOU will pay or do without. It is absolutely crazy. In New Jersey, the stations there are only allowed to change the price once a week, per the state law. What a mess! Today the going rate is $3.52 a gallon, after a surge of $3.75.

In Soviet Russia price changes you =))

It is modern Russian capitalism, Russia has no fuel prices regulation.
